Shape the current and future Global Shared Services digitisation strategy and prioritisation of projects with focused delivery on customer centricity and improved efficiencies
Collaborate with IM to design and execute technology strategies that enhance GSS service offering
Responsible for articulating and driving a Value adding analytics strategy and programmes across GSS globally.
Act as primary interface for any projects related to automation, represent GSS externally, maintaining high level relationships relating to collaborative and cooperative digitisation activities that enhance the strategic direction
Collaborate with the Shared Service delivery teams who lead and provide governance over Automation and digitization work to develop and implement policies and guidelines for digitisation.
Partner with business leads to plan and implement digitisation activities, to monitor progress and report on estimates targets, and to track and monitor the benefits of digitization
Provide expert advice to the GSS Senior Leadership team and relevant stakeholders on issues relating to digitisation and analytics including copyright, access to automated / digitised documents, and contribute expertise to the development of Library’s access tools
Development and maintenance of effective relationships with relevant digitisation vendors, including managing vendor contracts as appropriate
Drive customer service orientation by proactively developing customer relationships by making efforts to listen to and understand the customer;
anticipating and providing solutions to customer needs; giving high priority to customer satisfaction as well as customer escalations.
Develop improvement plans in conjunction with cross functional teams to improve various processes within GS
Ensure all relevant legislative requirements are followed to ensure adherence to agreed-upon continuous improvement tools and cyber security
Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders by identifying and addressing conflict issues to ensure optimised data quality practices are implemented across stakeholder groups.
Requirements : Qualification and Skill :
Global Strategy digitisation experience is essential
Postgraduate Tertiary qualification with preference given to Computer Science, Process / Industrial Engineering, Business Management or Statistics
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma theory and tools
7-10 years proven experience in the field of process re-engineering or Data analytics, of which 5 years must be managerial.
Knowledgeable in areas such as digital content, standards, rights management and / or copyright and the digitisation life cycle, business improvement and data analytics
Experience in Big Data technology
Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of agile project management
Minimum 3 years’ continuous improvement and digitisation experience within mining or shared services essential
Minimum 5 years’ experience within leading and co-ordinating continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Tools is essential
Candidates must have proven track record / history of running digitisation and automation projects which have improved processes.
Must have record of leading & co-ordinating continuous improvement projects and teams
Must have good budget and management skills
Ideally having worked in financial services / telecoms / mining with proven projects experience in the digitisation space.
