The purpose ofthis role is to build and maintain professional business relationships across aportfolio of 250 clients of high value by driving challenging sales and incometargets, proactively acquiring new clients, providing solutions to existingclients with cross sell, campaigns and product utilisation and proactivelymanaging and improving customer satisfaction and risk and compliance

Key Responsibilities

  • Driveincome and sales targets by cross selling, upselling and acquiring new clients
  • Ensurededicated relationships are maintained and grown
  • Createand maintain an annual client interaction management plan
  • Ensurethe long term sustainability of the portfolio by establishing relationships
  • Makeuse of the client planning and solution enablement tools for the top 30% of theportfolio
  • Achievenew business and up-selling sales targets
  • Achievecustomer satisfaction targets
  • Developan understanding of regional market trends and business lifecycle challenges
  • Trackand monitor the financial performance of the portfolio
  • Applyrisk-based pricing for all new sales and pricing reviews
  • PositionEnterprise Banking in a dynamic and highly competitive market place
  • Driveacquisition initiatives through pro-active re-engagement processes
  • Conductregular client visits and initiate changes to ABB Product
  • Educatethe customers on the new operating model and value proposition
  • Makeuse of middle and back-office support networks
  • Maintainownership for servicing the client on operational matters
  • Takeownership of client complaints
  • Communicateand implement actions to improve service following client feedback
  • Stayabreast of new industry developments and clients' market position
  • Understandand apply the relevant governance and compliance procedures
  • Maintaincustomer records and accurate completion of applications and paperwork

  • Theappointment will be made in line with the Divisional Employment Equity strategy
  • BDegree in Commerce or Marketing or Finance or equivalent NQF level 6qualification
  • Five(5) years sales and relationship banking experience within a Commercial Bankingenvironment
  • ValidDriver’s license
  • PassedRegulatory Exam (RE1)
  • Three(3) years FAIS experience
  • Proficientin MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the Internet
  • Nocriminal record
  • Preferred Requirements

  • Postgraduate qualification in Commerce or Marketing or Finance
  • Seven(7) years sales and relationship banking experience within a Commercial Bankingenvironment
  • Preferencewill be given to South African Citizens and Permanent residents of South Africain possession of proof of permanent resident status
