Seeking a highly skilled Professional Services Consultant to join our implementation team. Position is responsible for providing implementation services in South Africa.
The position is based in Johannesburg with extensive travel in country.
This position will be responsible for providing technical implementation services for 50+ healthcare facilities, alongside with our local partner, for a project duration of approximately 3 / 3.5 years
Implementation Service Consultant - 1 year renewable ( 3years project)
Location : South Africa (extensive travel)
Required Skills :
Fluency is required in English
Two years of experience implementing or integrating software applications
Good knowledge of network topologies and infrastructures
Healthcare IT experience, working with Clinical Information Systems preferred
Knowledge of HL7 and interface engines
Comfortable to work in a hospital environment
Some experience working with bio-medical devices would be positive+++
Primary responsibilities and activities include :
Works very closely with the Service Account Manager assigned to oversee the delivery to this account
Collaborate on a daily basis with our local partner who will manage the implementation locally
Provide implementation and on-going support services
Escalate issues to Engineering and Support Management as appropriate
Work with customers to guide them in the selection and scaling of the client' solution which best suits their specific technical and infrastructure requirements (Technical and Clinical Workflow Requirements, Device Inventory, Test Labs, HIS Integration, etc.)
Perform feasibility study and solution designs when required
Execute onsite software and hardware configuration / setup / testing
Provide onsite end user training
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and manage expectations with clear and frequent communication
Meet with customer to understand project objectives and coordinate activities and issues resolution
Create and present professional demonstrations utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint.
Occasional travel to Europe for product training
The job requires business travel of 50-70%. The position requires a high degree of autonomy and accountability, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills are necessary to successfully present the clients' message to individuals and groups in a professional manner
