Our client is a multinational company from automotive sector. Taking into account its growth, it seeks to identify one :

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for the planning, management, coordination and financial control of projects assuring costumers milestones;
  • Issue and analyze request for quotations (RFQs) from approved suppliers and customers to support production and pre-production requirements (components, process materials, packaging, component tooling);
  • Lead sourcing decisions : negotiate price, delivery and payment terms;
  • Initiate and monitor Supplier and customers APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), Vendor production readiness review and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions on new award programs;
  • Work with suppliers, customers, managers, project teams to drive Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA / VE) and cost reductions;
  • Coordinate with all functional areas and responsible of BU in order to achieve all the KPI s targets established for the projects;
  • Manage cost reductions, engineering changes and key supplier and customers meetings / activities;
  • Actively participate and manage program planning and status meetings;
  • Arbitrate any conflicts with the customer and supplier related with technical and / or financial issues;
  • Track supplier capacity and loading as required.
  • Profile :

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering and / or Management;
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus;
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification is a plus;
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with hands on operational knowledge;
  • Experience in Automotive Industry is a plus;
  • Experience with customers and suppliers in the stamped component and welded assembly market;
  • Ability to successfully function in a matrix style of management, managing a variety of cross
  • Members;
  • Good understanding of APQP and Stage Gate program management techniques;
  • Methodic, organized and analytical;
  • High level of problem solving skills;
  • High level of leadership and teamwork and communication skills;
  • English proficiency, both written and spoken.
