The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties :
Full accountability and management of assigned portfolio of Key Accounts
Responsible for the development and achievement of sales through distributor.
Responsible for shelf health in all accounts through the close liaison with field selling division.
Focusing on driving trade advertising activities to ensure growth of accounts.
Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions within the account business.
Preparation of business plans & business reviews for all accounts.
Negotiating and signing of Trading Terms agreements
Managing Trade Advertising Budgets
Prepare and deliver effective selling presentations that implement approved Customer Business Plans and employ effective negotiating strategies
Playing an integral role in ensuring roll out of new product launches and ensuring product listing in all accounts.
Develop timely and accurate forecast (volume and value) for assigned accounts and revise throughout the year.
Identify and grow opportunities within portfolio and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment.
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with the Sales Manager, Customer stakeholders and Executive's.

The Key Account Manager will be based in Johannesburg and will have the following attributes :
5+years relationship sales / key account management experience
Knowledge of Ethnic Hair Care Products is imperative
Strong sales track-record Advanced understanding of product and process
Good understanding of the FMCG / Retail environment
Good verbal and written communication skills - formulate strategy.
