  • Develop and manage integrated reward, retention and recognition strategies and structures
  • Manage implementation of reward strategies across the Group

  • Coordinate and manage the annual remuneration review process this includes policy as well as operational calculations for implementation
  • Assist in the application of consistent package structuring across the Group; manage and compile reports on pay and benefits (Medical aid, pension, provident, group life) across the Group
  • Implement long-term solutions and plans to address remuneration inconsistencies within overall long-term Group remuneration strategy
  • Drive the implementation of an appropriate job sizing tool to ensure consistent decision-making in remuneration across the Group

  • Provide guidance and support in the allocation of bonus and share allocations
  • Regularly review the variable pay strategy and whether it is driving intended behaviours and achievement of performance goals in the Group
  • Resolve problems on any remuneration queries; change management and education regarding reward issues within HR teams across the Group
  • Manage the implementation of remuneration related Bargaining Forum agreements
  • Management of Expat remuneration
  • Present proposals for Remuneration strategies, systems and processes
  • Management of Share Schemes
  • Participate in Salary Surveys to ensure that market benchmarking is available and perform ad hoc projects
  • Qualifications

    BCom degree in HR Global remuneration professional qualification advantageous


    Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in a compensation, benefits and remuneration environment Project management exposure with job profiling and job evaluations Expat remuneration Incentive scheme principles Knowledge of tax and employment legislation and compliance
