Main duties and responsibilities :

Description

A dedicated and diligent business analyst is sought to report directly to the General Manager on National and international projects within the mHealth space.

This includes keeping a handle on project and product aspects including proposals, budgets and financial models, progress tracking, management of resources and team capacity.

A key area in this role will be product ownership, which includes the operationalisation and commercialisation o fidentified products, strategy, business development, system and product design.

Key Performance Areas, Weights and Objectives :

  • Business Analysis 60%
  • o Full cycle Project and Product Management including capacity management and resource tracking

    o Multi-task on a suite of projects and products, all within different stages of development and implementation

    o Compiling intuitive system and product requirements and specification design, in terms of researching, consulting and analysing needs.

    o Following best practice design and development methodologies in sustaining high quality, clean, auditable and manageable products and systems

    o Compiling of relevant specifications documents, UI designs, wireframes and test cases

    o Effective system testing and approval, including the management of release notes and effective communication with stakeholders on changes and / or improvements

    o Continuous improvement of existing products, systems and processes

    o Working with front-end and back-end developers, marketing, sales and design departments to ensure a holistic management process of project management.

    o Identify issues, bugs, and bottlenecks and devise solutions to these problems

    o Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in applications and associated processes, procedures and methods

  • Business processes and Strategy 20%
  • o Business process improvements, operationalization and optimization

    o Develop strategies for the implementation of products, projects or systems, including commercialisation, legal and operational aspects

    o Risk analysis and mitigation

    o Management of tasks and priorities within product suite

    o Increase profitability of products through the streamlining of development, manufacturing and maintenance thereof

  • Record Keeping 20%
  • o Compiling of relevant records as is necessary for compliance to ISO, CE, FDA (and other) standards and requirements as is applicable to assigned products

    o Accomplish objectives by establishing plans, budgets and results; reviewing progress and making mid course corrections to ensure optimal outcomes

    o Efficient and effective reporting on strategies, prioritisation and tasks to General Manager

    o Efficient and effective reporting on performance of products and systems

    o Taking personal ownership for projects / products / systems and work quality as well as contributing to team development and the company ecosystem as a whole

    Profile

    Education and / or work experience requirements :

    The following qualifications, skills and abilities are required to perform the daily tasks and

    job duties listed above :

  • 2 years working experience minimum
  • Business Analysis (BA) experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent computer proficiency (especially in MS Office Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail and flexible in a changing environment
  • Strong report and proposal writing skills will be advantageous
  • Experience in working in adherence to quality management system processes would be advantageous
  • Creativity and innovation will be valued
