Description : HumanResources Business Partner


The purpose of this role is to partner with managers andsupervisors to implement Human Resources (HR) strategies that will enable theachievement of Organisational goals.

The role holder will be responsible forimplementing the LNSA HR plans that will facilitate LexisNexis SA to attract,develop and retain staff.

Key Performance Objectives for the HR BusinessPartner are Recruitment, Induction & Comprehensive Onboarding plans, TalentManagement & Organisational Development, Human Resources Operations andLegislative Compliance as well as Performance Management.

Business strategy

  • Ensure alignment of Human Resources plans todivisional strategy and objectives
  • Use analytics, data and trends to diagnosemanagement issues and guide management teams and employees on fit for purposesolutions
  • Support the division in the achievement of BBBEEgoals
  • Talent and Organizational Development

  • Implementthe LNSA talent strategy by driving talent attraction, development andretention plans for the divisions
  • Supportmanagers to develop and lift employee capability in line with Organisationaland department requirements
  • Supportcommunication ofTalent and ODinitiatives throughout the business and ensure adherence to the Talent calendar
  • Supportthe Personal Development Process (PDP)to ensure PDPs are completed for all employees and within definedtimeframes and completion standards
  • Identify and address performance managementtraining and support requirements
  • Labour Relations

  • Negotiatewith employee representative groups and manage relationships in accordance withOrganisational goals, existing agreements and the legislation
  • Provideline managers with industrial relations supportto facilitate a conducive environment
  • Engagement and Culture

  • Support company culture by diagnosingcurrent and desired states, gaps and actions
  • Support business in driving and communicatingculture surveys and relevant actions
  • PerformanceManagement

  • Support the PDP process to ensure PDPs arecompleted for all employees and within defined timeframes and completionstandards
  • Identify and address performance managementtraining and support requirements
  • HR Operations andRoadmap

  • Implement HR Roadmap initiatives according todefined timeframes
  • Provide input into HR MIR (monthly indicatorreports)

  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HumanResources Management (ideally)
  • Relevant Honours Degree preferred
  • 3 to 5 years’ working experience ingeneralistHR positions
  • Understanding of employment law, occupationalhealth & safety and Labour relations
