A vacancy has arisen for and energetic and committed individual who can support the Africa Operations Team. This position requires someone to be able to collate, analyse and report on the African Operations profitability & pricing, as well as effect recommendations.
Minimum Requirements :
B Com Degree or similar qualification
1 3 years experience in a similar role
Presentation, report writing and data analysis skills
Competence in MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Use of JDE E1 and Qlikview advantageous
Basic understanding of forex
Ability and willingness to travel internationally
The Business Analyst will support the Africa Finance Managerwith the many but vitally important back office support tasks, such as, but notlimited to;
tracking and reporting of performance, budgeting, monitoring ofpricing and working with other departments within GUD to see projects and tasksthrough to their closure.
Strong interpersonal skills and good rapport with allother departments are vital for this position.
The main responsibilities of this position include :
Analysing market data and translating it into meaningful information
Highlight opportunities and threats concerning the pricing mix
Monthly sales & profitability analysis and recommendations
Preparation of monthly MANCO reports and presentations
Review of departmental and country specific reports & monthly management accounts
Management of quarterly volume rebates
Pricing analysis for Holdings and warehouses including implementing adjustments on E1
Preparation of Board Reports (Sales graphs and tables)
Compilation of annual volume and revenue budgets including uploads & presentations
Assisting in country’ staff prepare budgets and review of in country’ explanations on deviations to budgets
Preparation of reports on activity in existing and developing markets
Management of adhoc / special projects
