Job responsibilities

To create demand for the 3M Personal safety division and grow the supported business in the key markets identified in the strategic plan.

This role, the main role is to create demand at end-user level within selected verticals and driving selected portfolios, while pulling the demand through the local and national distributor.

This all been done with leveraging the internal support of, internal sales, Portfolio manager, technical support and all backed up by our national trainer

  • Selling selected range of Personal safety division in a competent and professional manner
  • Systematic and conscientious coverage of customers in assigned territory, key and target accounts
  • Demonstration of products to prospective customers
  • Presentations to individuals or groups on company products and technology
  • Updating Salesforce.com on a daily basis
  • Submission of weekly planning sheet, weekly summary
  • Specific Complexity

    Technical skills : Can explain benefits in terms of customer needs through practical demonstrations.

    Sales : Sales experience a very strong focus in the health and safety. Versatile sales person at all sales levels. Strong ability to converse at all levels

    Education

  • IMM or Sales Diploma
  • Driver’s license
  • Computer literacy ( MS Office , especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience :

  • At least 5 years experience in sales / marketing
  • Knowledge

  • Possesses and applies advanced analytical problem solving skills. Applies methodology of process improvement when applicable.
  • Possesses good technical and non-technical communication skills such as listening, reading, writing and speaking.
  • Possesses interpersonal and team skills necessary to perform effectively in a variety of cross-functional
