Sappi Lomati is looking to employ a Maintenance Planner to plan and schedule all maintenance tasks to ensure long-term plant availability and reliability, thereby contributing to the overall equipment effectiveness (OOE).
PM Notification management.
Scope work orders for planned maintenance tasks
Scheduling work orders for the execution of scheduled and / or planned maintenance tasks
Improve master data
Effective shut planning and execution of responsibilities with regard to breakdowns and opportunity maintenace
Knowledge sharing within and accross teams
To actively participate in MDT activities
To analyse maintenance data, compile / extract and issue reports for optimization of equipment availability and costs
Assist in facilitation of problem solving sessions and administer relevant gap lists.
Assist with management of plant maintenace costs ( within budget )
KEY COMPETENCIES / SKILLS
Planning and Organising
Attention to detail
Problem solving and analysis
interpersonal and communication skills
Understanding of maintenance business processes and standards
Ability to understand technical drawings
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Relevant NQF 4 Qualification ( Matrick / N3 )
Recognised trade certificate with 5 years' experience in a manufacturing industry environment
Computer Literacy (MS Office, Projects)
SAP experience ( CMMS ) advantageous
3 - 5 years relevant maintenance planning experience
Saw Milling Industry experience will be advantageous
