Overview

The Global Services Partner Associate will be responsible for ensuring nscglobal has a quality and cost effective engineering network globally, by engaging with the local partners in these countries and building strong relationships with these partners, and ensuring that the selected partners fulfil our customer requirements as well as developing our business offerings to our customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and source new partners globally, into the partner network using the Cisco Partner Tool
  • Assist in expanding the geographically coverage and improve the SLA capabilities provided by nscglobal for all domain
  • Maintain OLA between internal Stakeholders and Partners.
  • Project deliverables : (SOW, Schedules, pricing / costs, risks)
  • Manage the Partner-issues inbox for all day to day escalation activities
  • Drive down 'Planned' partner costs in ROW by target 5% per quarter
  • Ensure timely delivery of all reporting for Escalations
  • Ensure all current partners are set up in full (contract, contract schedule, payment terms, SLA’s & KPI’s)
  • Build strong relationships with each of our key partners
  • Analyze partner performance through weekly, monthly and quarterly review meetings and documented with all key partners (Top 30)
  • Act as point of escalation for the partner management team
  • Carry out all monthly financial and governance reporting requirements
  • Raising of Partner POs (exceptions only)
  • Compile monthly report relating to specific customers or Partners to support Spend vs activities covered by Support or Planned activities globally or per country
  • Manage Partners’ Profiles by ensuring all documentation and data has been received, signed, countersigned by Legal, shared back to Partners and saved internally on J : Drive in the Partners folders
  • Take ownership of the partner skills and capability matrices and ensure the documents are kept up to date and accessible to the business
  • Maintain Pre-sales tracker and daily activities
  • Manage contracts and Partners’ Profiles for dedicated Projects.
  • Manage and update the 3rd Party Partner FE Database spreadsheet, and be responsible for ensuring all updates provided are actioned timeously and that the data is kept up to date and accurate
  • Ad-hoc administrative projects (such as updating or creating document templates, training notes, give input on e.g. Flat File Cost Book, FYE analysis as required, ad-
  • hoc analysis relating to Partner / Customer / Activity Country for Support / Unplanned Activity / Planned Activity)

  • Implement all requests from Line Manager
  • Training of Intern’s relating to their day-to-day activities within the Partner Global Services in South Africa.
  • Key Competencies : Technical

    Technical

  • Global knowledge
  • Experience in either the IT or Telecommunication fields
  • Experience in sourcing new suppliers / Vendors
  • Ability to negotiate competitive rates and within required budgets
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office, including advanced use of spreadsheets
  • Knowledge and experience of Database systems
  • SharePoint experience advantageous
  • Non-Technical

  • Fluently spoken and written English at a business level
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work and build relationships at all required levels throughout the partner network
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal management and staff
  • Required Education and Experience

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Fluently spoken and written English at a business level
  • At least 4 years’ working experience in an IT or Telecommunication fields
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office including advanced use of spreadsheets
  • Good planning and organizing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst ensuring quality is maintained
  • Must be customer focused and have effective productivity output
  • Experience in sourcing new suppliers
  • Ability to negotiate competitive rates and within required budgets
  • Knowledge and experience of Database systems
  • Ability to work and build relationships at all required levels throughout the partner network
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal management and staff
  • SharePoint experience advantageous
