The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base create market demand and ensure it’s strong presence in South Africa region among different verticals.

The selected candidate wins, maintains, and expands relationships with end users and assigned channel partners, and responsible for achieving sales, Business Development, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives.

The Sales Account Manager represents the entire range of Enterprise Security Products and services to assigned partners though may focus on a specific solution or product set if focused in a specific

vertical market.

  • Managing and develop the assigned (HSG)s security products
  • Drive Marketing initiatives such as seminars, focus meeting and demand generation activities by establishing direct relations with end users, key customers and key players in different verticals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with allocated partners and potential customers accounts across the assigned market by monitoring sales and negotiating orders to maximize revenue in accordance
  • with pre-defined targets

  • Responsible for the sales revenue and develop appropriate Channels, manage partners and training and development
  • Monitor and maximize own sales volume and distribution to meet or exceed annual targets
  • Seek out competitor information, maintain knowledge of new developments in the market place and communicate information
  • Maintain a good understanding of customer needs and expectations and handles all customer complaints or concerns appropriately and in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Submit weekly, monthly and as requested business reports to management, ensure optimum use of online tools and resources as advised by management
  • Coordinating with other Honeywell product Business units to enlist support on specific Projects and develop specifications and Channels
  • The Sales Account Manager reports to the product Vertical Leader.


  • Bachelor in Electronics / Communication Engineer with 5-8 Years’ experience in Security Industry
  • Security product knowledge, Project Design and management

  • Security product Training Certificates Technical Product training would be an added advantage
  • A broad knowledge of sales principles and best practices
  • Excellent team and communication skills
  • An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
  • An ability to influence at the operational level
  • An ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships
  • Significant experience in selling (industrial) products
  • Deep technical expertise
  • Understanding of the Honeywell value proposition as well as the competitive landscape
