Established in 1997, by Kgosi Mollwane Lebone Boikanyo Molotlegi, Lebone II College of the Royal Bafokeng is a leading independent preparatory and secondary school for boys and girls from South Africa and the rest of Africa.

Have a minimum of a BSc Degree (Physics or Chemistry Majors) and have completed a PGCE
Must be a senior educator and experienced in teaching Physical Science up to Grade 12 level
Be SACE registered
Experience and understanding of teaching IEB Curriculum would be advantageous
Must be in possession of a police clearance certificate
The applicant for this position should :
Have a passion and enthusiasm for the subject, coupled with proven teaching skills.
Have an understanding of how students learn the relevant subjects as well as a sensitivity for the social and cultural context in which young people find themselves
Have strong leadership experience and leadership qualities in order to lead a dynamic and professional team
Committed to growing and maintaining high standards of performance for the department
Ability to develop and mentor staff in the department
Be committed to professional development and the honing of their own teaching practice
Be excited about working in an environment of collaborative planning and teaching
Be able to integrate IT in the teaching programme
Be prepared to participate in pastoral, cultural and extramural activities of the College
Embrace a teaching approach that challenges student thinking and create a culture of inquiry in the classroom where students regularly work on non-
routine tasks and solve new and unfamiliar problems
