Account ManagerSolution Sales

Purpose of therole

The sales person serves as the primary businesscontact for the client and is responsible for client satisfaction. The salesperson is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service toaccounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organizationto ensure quality.

In addition, the sales person should build relationshipswith clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.

Revenue

  • Achieve annual targets
  • Maintain healthy sales pipeline
  • Customer plan maintenance
  • Delivery of overall growthin terms of total revenue for entire customer base at agreed % over previousyears’ sales levels
  • Develop a value propositionand ROI of proposals (Customer conversion rate)
  • Existing Clients andBusiness development

  • Responsible for client communications, conflictresolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue
  • Ensures that client issues are dealt with in anefficient manner
  • Owns the contract and contract renewals for new workfor an existing client
  • Assist with payment and collections
  • Works closely with the project team in order tomaintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identifypotential issues and / or opportunities within or related to the project
  • Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for accountgrowth and new business
  • Communicates the client's goals and represent the client'sinterests to the team
  • Provides regular two-way communication between theclient and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper clientexpectations
  • Understanding of company capabilities and service, andeffectively communicates all offerings to the client
  • Reports to the General Manager, providing regularinput on all account activity, including status and call reports on a weekly basis
  • Client training and education
  • Complete and submit tenders
  • Qualifications andRequired Experience

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Degree or Diploma or relating experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an AccountManagement or field sales role
  • Strong presentation and research skills
  • Computer literate with knowledge of MS office suite ofapplications
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills
