As a Business Analyst you will be required to Elicit requirements (solution or project process) :

  • Ability to conduct JAD sessions internally and with external clients
  • Business Process Engineering
  • Feasibility and Needs Analysis
  • Due Diligence and Gap Analysis
  • Costing and sizing of requirement
  • Business Requirement Analysis & Documentation
  • Test pack and execution of Functional Testing
  • UAT test execution and support during UAT
  • Provide training content and facilitate training for end users on new business processes and changes on existing processes
  • Consulting

  • Problem Resolution and Troubleshooting
  • Provide support to business in implementing effective and efficient solutions
  • Impact analysis in terms of processes
  • Liaise with the IT teams for process / system changes
  • In addition to the above you will :

  • Work with business unit managers to assist in delivering of BAU and new projects
  • Interaction with administration clients to become a knowledge expert on the business.
  • Liaison and / or coordinate with Kantar and client project team members i.e. project managers, IT resources and developers with regards to implementing a requirement
  • Become the owner of business rule or process changes in the MobiWorkX Platform.
  • Gain a good understanding of the solutions that service the specific domain.
  • Gain a general understanding of the research industry and relevant business sectors serviced by Kantar.
  • Gain a strong understanding of all Kantar business units and solutions
  • Grade 12 (Matric) / National Diploma / Post Graduate / BABOK / Prince 2
  • Business Degree or Diploma (in related industry) is preferable
  • Formal business analysis training
  • Agile fundamentals is preferable
  • Product owner qualification, FIT is preferable
  • Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the role of an analyst.
  • Knowledge of the Agile methodology advantageous (Scrum), Sprint Management.
  • Experience with working in IT project teams.
  • Experience with documentation of requirements (including gap analysis and feasibility studies)
  • Good documentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Business process modelling packages
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Ability to liaise with business, IT project team members and external clients
  • JAD facilitation skills
