    The Offshore and Platform Coordinator will maintain key stakeholder relationships and provide comprehensive and complete administration services to clients.

    This role will provide client services to intermediaries, financial advisors, direct clients and institutions serviced by Ashburton Investments.

    This role will report to the offshore client services manager. This role is based in Johannesburg.

    experience and qualifications

  • A recognised Bachelor of Commerce degree or studying towards it 2 years of client service experience with a minimum 1 year offshore or local asset management experience or offshore product structures Knowledge required including offshore product structures, offshore processes, offshore procedures and compliance exposure, collections, security validations, tax documents, local regulatory requirements and local product structures Comprehensive understanding of and insight into asset management processes and client communication Strong people skills needed to build trust and confidence within the Ashburton business Excellent communication and presentation skills Effective contributor to a team and driven to maintain high standards;

    It is inherent to the role that the incumbent is honest in dealing with cash and financial transactions. As such, it is a pre-

    requisite for candidates to undergo consumer credit record checks to enable the Employer to ascertain whether the candidate’s credit record is acceptable.


    Ensure that administrative tasks are complete and service support given to clients, Intermediaries, IFA's, BDMs and platforms according to service level agreements Professionally respond to all client and stakeholder queries and ensure feedback is provided timeously Provide clients with relevant and up to date information and documentation (eg.

    valuation & transaction statements, contract notes, portfolio statements, tax statements, commission statements etc) Proactively solve problems which could be experienced by offshore and local clients and / or stakeholders Ensure client queries are escalated and resolved by relevant stakeholders Stakeholder Management Build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients Assist team members with additional client engagements, tasks and queries when possible Assist walk in clients and effectively execute their requests Reporting Ensure accurate records are kept of client communications Ensure that the local and offshore platform matrixes are updated regularly and the necessary contact and fund information is sent to relevant internal stakeholders Submit accurate reporting which contribute to business decision making process Business Process Strictly adhere to processes in onboarding all clients, intermediaries and platforms according to set Service Level Agreements Provide administration and stakeholder support when onboarding fund onto external platforms Contribute towards mapping of platform processes Ensure that all business rules (including compliance standards) are adhered to and that all responsibilities are actioned within the required time frames.

    This includes adherence to POPI, AML, FATCA and TCF requirements. Conduct risk screening and security checks of clients and intermediaries where appropriate Ensure business risks such as fraud attempts are identified and appropriately managed Effectively demonstrate a clear understanding of business (offshore investment products, fees and fund information) and process to clients and stake holders Monitor progression of tasks, ensure that communication and feedback is provided Seek and recommend innovative solutions for process issues experienced
