PACKAGE : R697 011 R821 052 per annum (All inclusive Remuneration Package). The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement.

  • REQUIREMENTS : A Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Financial Accounting qualification; 5 years financial management experience of which 3 years should be at supervisory;
  • Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, Public Service Act and Regulations, BAS (Basic Accounting System) and Persal;
  • A valid driver’s licence. Skills and Competencies : Communication skills; Computer literacy (Ms Word, Ms Excel & PowerPoint);
  • Sound report writing and analytical skills; Ability to work under pressure; Analytical and problem solving skills.

  • KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS : Manage the payment of salaries and allowances as well as the implementation of salary deduction;
  • Manage miscellaneous transport, subsistence claims and advances payments; Oversee the distribution and reconciliation of salary pay-

  • sheets, telephone database and interface;
  • Oversee the clearing / reconciliation of suspense / control accounts; Ensure document and records management and implement internal control measures;
  • Provide effective people management.
