The successful candidate will Reporting into the SAP CEO Section, the Senior SAP FI / CO Consultant will be responsible for the development, configuration, and customizing of SAP Financials and Controlling in an environment where the New General Ledger is activated.
The Consultant will be part of the SAP System Support team in order to architect the SAP Best Practice design for the Finance Department in preparation to move onto the S4 Hana Platform in the near future.

Minimum Requirements :
3 Year Bachelor degree (B.Com accounting or Information Management)
At least 5-7 years’ experience in SAP FI CO
Certification in SAP FI / CO will beneficial
Finance background mandatory (either in a position within Finance -)
SAP customizing experience mandatory
Great communication skills mandatory / ability to speak with Senior Finance Exec as Team Lead
Analysis of business requirements.
Design and implementation of solutions and Change Requests ( Including testing and UAT Support)
Identify integration issues and develop solutions to these issues.
Work effectively with other SAP Modular functional consultants and solution experts as well as with the business community.
Clarify processes to end users and business stakeholders as required
Provide detailed transactional information to internal and external auditors as required
Establish good relationships with stakeholders in Group Finance.
Work with incumbent partners to report and resolve any in-scope development related errors with the FICO processes.
Work with FICO, Supply Chain, Billing, and Procure to Pay Finance data owners.
Lead functional / technical architecture in complex SAP and non-SAP environments.
Manages design workshops on multiple area of expertise and preparation for S4 Hana
Identifying and raising issues to local Business Owners or management to achieve resolution for FICO development tasks
Contribute input and coordination to training documentation for FICO development tasks and major changes
Maintain process documentation for FICO processes & tasks
Ensure compliance to existing, and development of required data and reporting standards. Ensure the integrity of the finance configuration of the SAP system across multiple landscapes.
Assist business analysts to identify business process improvement opportunities through the use of existing or future technologies.
Work closely with ABAP developers to develop appropriate SAP improvements where applicable
Research new technology and functionality relevant to area(s) of expertise.
Perform functional application design and architecture design to support the relevant business processes.
Responsible for managing the monthly and yearly SAP system close processes
Knowledge and Skills
Should have sound configuration knowledge of master data, GL, AP, AR, Asset accounting and Cash and Bank accounting including new GL accounting , automatic payment programs and closing cockpit.
Should have sound configuration knowledge of cost element, cost center, internal order, product costing , profitability analysis and profit center accounting
Understand dependency between FI and CO and other logistics modules
Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide financial expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area with this knowledge Conducts or participates in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs.
