Digital Marketing What’s the Opportunity? As Marketing Manager of one would be responsible for strategizing, budgeting, planning and managing all marketing related tasks within the TechStream Group.
The successful candidate will have an exceptional grasp of digital marketing strategies, lifecycle marketing, analytics, and strategy building including budgeting.
This position is a new role within the company and is, therefore, a hands-on role and would also include getting one’s hands dirty as we don’t use external vendors to create content and it will be the responsibility of the Marketing Manager to create material.
This position would be based in our Cape Town branch but would service all 7 global locations and Streams equally. What does the role involve?
Duties would include, but not limited to : Marketing :
Develop a global and regional Brand and Marketing strategy as a whole and across 7 locations.
Take the lead in implementing and executing the Brand and Marketing strategy globally and regionally.
Manage all sections of Marketing strategy from strategy building, developing and implementation.
Continue to develop and review global and regional strategies.
Take ownership of strategy and brand storytelling.
Services our internal customers, being major stakeholders.
Optimize our employer brand and awareness.
Manage marketing budget allocations in support of company revenue goals.
Provide budget suggestions.
Manage TechStream’s social media accounts; implementing strategies and tactics that grow our followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into leads, customers and clients.
Provide advice on which social media platforms to create brand awareness on.
Responsible for SEO and digital communication being Graphing Design, Copywriting, Logo design, creating PDF’s, infographics and marketing material globally and regionally.
Create and implement various template designs.
Deliver high-level digital presentations as needed for larger sales opportunities and launches.
Manage digital marketing strategies to scale and optimize ROI-based performance.
Measure results and optimize our social media channels and website for SEO as well as usability.
Identify new revenue opportunities for various departments within the organization through the use of new and current digital and social platforms.
Manage digital marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities.
Monitor trends in digital marketing tools / applications and apply that knowledge to improve digital marketing performance.
Use Talent Rover (Salesforce CRM) which links to all companies’ websites to maximize marketing.
Website Management of all internal websites (TechStream, CloudStream, EarthStream, CyberStream, and AutoStream).
Increase traffic to our websites and make sure the websites are user-friendly.
TechStream buys and builds other agencies from time to time and the Marketing Manager would need to play a role in assisting with making sure our branding material is implemented across the acquired company.
Other duties as assigned Operations :
Matrix Management. Liaise with regional Office Managers / Operations Team and Managing Partners to develop and / or implement marketing strategy and ideas.
Adhere and implement policies and procedures. What are we after?
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of experience and education, in Marketing, Advertising or a related field
8 + years’ experience in a Marketing role with an emphasis on Digital and Branding
Experience working in a marketing role within a Start-Up or SME.
Experiencing developing and implementing a Global Marketing Strategy including budget management
Experience rolling out a marketing strategy across multiple regions and multiple brands both onsite and offsite.
Have a solid understanding of digital (social media, video, and mobile) platforms and their best practices, preferably in relation to the sales / recruitment industry.
Experience linking marketing and a CRM system which links to websites to maximize use.
Experience managing multiple websites.
Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions
Demonstrated ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines and manage budgets
Proficient with SEO and creating communication content from scratch.
Superb verbal and written communication skills
Team player who collaborates well with all teams
Graphic Design experience
Strong organizational skills and ability to adjust to moving deadlines and shifting priorities.
Must be multi-task oriented and be able to respond to changing priorities
