    The G Band Senior Specialist : Insight & Analysis role is based within Consumer Business Unit

    The role of the Senior Specialist : Insight & Analysis is to drive strategy, product and campaign recommendations. You should be able to engage with stakeholders to design well-

    constructed analyses and work cross-functionally with analysts, product managers and the operations team to effectively deliver actionable insights.

    You will be required to periodically prepare and present advanced analytics and findings in a clear and concise way to business stakeholders and executive management.

    Your responsibilities will include :

  • Research and develop methods for measuring and analysing direct marketing campaign impact on customer behaviour as well as revenue.
  • Research and implement new algorithms and methods for optimizing g targeting, campaign impact and incremental revenue lift.
  • Lead investigations into multiple streams of CVM inbound and outbound campaigns.
  • Lead requirements gathering discussions with key business stakeholders to identify analytics needs and desired outcomes
  • The ideal candidate for this role will have :

  • Bachelors or honours degree in mathematics, statistics, informatics or similar degree
  • SAS accreditation training will be an advantage
  • Master is advantageous
  • At least 5+ years working experience in an analytics and reporting related role with advanced SQL skills
  • Telecommunications experience will be an advantage
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills are essential
  • The base location for this role is Midrand
