Job Purpose :
The implementation of Marketing Plan strategies aimed at achieving sales and profit objectives by product. All marketing plans must be aligned with the Key Business Objectives and Critical Success Factors.
Main Duties and Responsibilities are :
Responsible for supporting the development & execution of marketing strategy in close partnership with Product and Sales Managers and Functional Business Partners (Governmental affairs, Communication, Professional Educators, Commercial Educators, HE&R, Finance / Analytics, Pricing, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Quality).
Drive sustainable growth through the development of specialty and procedure specific strategies and tactics.
Direct promotional activities.
Implement pricing strategies through portfolio positioning and market segmentation. Pricing to be managed in conjunction with Strategic Capabilities and Finance.
Manage Product range and packaging with Logistics, to ensure optimal distribution into the market.
Utilize market intelligence to ensure appropriate strategies are implemented.
Implement Product Training programmestogether with Commercial Education to achieve the desired level of product expertise within the sales force.
The Qualifying Requirements are :
Minimum 3 years of surgical product / brand management experience.
Strategic thinker with marketing skills and experience in translating strategy into tactical marketing / selling plans.
Experience in leading / coaching multi-functional teams, successfully delivering objectives to time and within budget.
Leverage and integrate the information from Marketing, SFE, Commercial, HE, Market Intelligence into a relevant plan of activities.
Adept at problem solving supported by analytical abilities to make fact-based conclusions about the impact of market dynamics, customers and competitors on marketing / selling plans.
Effective communicator with experience in coaching a sales team.
Knowledge of the healthcare or medical device environment is preferred.
Market development or value / demand creation through experience with customer and market insights or through experience in marketing or other critical functions.
Demonstrated ability to deliver strong business results and; demonstrates commitment to achieving stretched goals balancing long term growth opportunities with short term wins.
Understands reimbursement and funding policy implications on sales growth and procedure adoption.
Effective communicator (verbal, reading and writing).
Agile at making things happen through managing relationships and networks effectively, both internally and with key external stakeholders.
