Job Description :
We are currently searching for a Sales Engineer for a Process Automation company. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Analytical Chemistry (preferred) or equivalent in Electrical Light Current, with 5 or more years of experience in the selling of analytical products (gas;
flow (gas) and dust). A pro-active, energetic and professional approach is required for this position; being a self-starter is essential.
MS Office and Power Point skills are a requirement for this position and you will be required to attend local and international product training as / when requested.
Position details :
Reaching sales targets and gross profit targets as agreed to by the National Sales Manager.
Provide engineering and technical support for customers.
Establish a sales strategy for the product range systems and services.
Provide input on products (product features and benefits) for marketing activities.
Establish the tools and processes to reach the overall goals.
Produce detailed sales forecasts and weekly sales report for management (Customer Relationship Management Software).
Compile market intelligence concerning market size and potential, competitors and product trends.
Act in the professional manner required by adopting a courteous and pro-active attitude when dealing with customers.
Create presentation slides on products and solutions for internal training and customers when required.
Input design suggestions specifically for South African market.
