Your key job responsibilities as the Content Marketing Manager in Durban will include :

  • Be accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads that deliver sales and customer retention (includes writing copy for all print and digital ads, video scripts, email campaigns, web banners, blog posts, etc.)
  • Be responsible for setting the tone for client’s brand messaging and creating relevant content
  • Transform highly technical content into something easy-to-understand and enjoyable to read
  • Act as the brand representative for all press to ensure content is consistent with client’s brand voice, style and tone
  • Serve as editor-in-chief for all content to ensure quality, clarity and consistency
  • Review social and website metrics and make improvements accordingly
  • Work closely with Marketing Manager to create content lined out in the marketing calendar
  • Stay updated on industry trends and adjust the content strategy as needed
  • Manage the distribution of content across all channels
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Requirements for this the Content Marketing Manager job in Durban :

  • 3+ years of experience in Content Marketing
  • Understanding of content marketing tactics, such as SEO, digital advertising and social media marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to lead content marketing campaigns
  • Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand clients’ target market wants to see and how to create it
  • Excellent time management skills to consistently deliver projects on time
  • Experience with WordPress, Google analytics, and the top social channels
  • Demonstrates sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing techniques and a drive to reach and satisfy customers
  • Strong visual sense and the ability to collaborate closely with creative teams (Photography and Photoshop / InDesign experience a huge plus)
