    The G Band Senior Specialist Campaign Developer role is based within Consumer Business Unit (CVM).

    The role of the Senior Specialist Campaign Developer isaccountable for managing inbound and outbound campaign briefs allocated by theCVM Operations intake process.

    Using the briefs and briefing sessions,translate these into inbound and outbound campaigns offers and rules, tosupport and contribute toward the delivery of CVM objectives and targets.

    Usingdecisioning tools and capabilities to manage the logic and rules, as well astesting these before launch and deploying to the channels / systems.

    Yourresponsibilities will include :

  • Provide support in defining and assessingreal time strategy requirements.
  • Review campaign briefs or change requestsand build required logic.
  • Perform impact analysis on newrequirements and translate requirements into real time decision logic and dataspecifications.
  • Perform logic and workflow testing,quality assurance and business simulation.
  • Ensure that the logic contains theappropriate control / test elements to make the inbound activity measureable,and use reports to determine how existing decisioning rules can be enhanced.
  • Manage a plan or schedule of logic updatesand deployment timings. Liaise with the change requestor and other impactedfunctions to update status against the plan.
  • The idealcandidate for this role will have :

  • Defining and assessing real timestrategy requirements
  • Significant knowledge ofcustomer driven marketing techniques and processes
  • Experience of directmarketing principles & systems campaign management tools
  • Expert in campaignmanagement systems, optimisation technology and process
  • Call centre operations andexecution
  • Attention to detail withhigh degree of accuracy
  • Quick learner
  • Sound analytical thinking
  • Job Knowledge
  • Minimum 8 years workingexperience in an analytics or reporting related role with advanced SQL skills
  • Proven experience in leadingand developing teams
  • Excellent presentation andcommunication skills are essential
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills essential (VBA and macro experience will be an advantage)
  • Strong operational andcommercial knowledge and experience
  • In addition to the details listed above, the idealcandidate will have an in depth knowledge and understanding

  • Bachelor’sdegree in marketing, IT, comp science engineering or minimum of 8 yearsrelevant work experience.
  • The base location for this role is Midrand, Commercial Park.
