As part of our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Associate Manager - Logistics.


The Associate Manager - Logistics is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics team at Aspen Global Incorporated (AGI).

You will report to the Manager - Logistics and will be mainly responsible managing the logistics team on operations and projects activities and actively participate to the company strategy deployment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Team Management :
  • Manage, assign and monitor the Team activities, performance and capacity to ensure workload alignment across the Team.
  • Train and coach of Team members.
  • Motivate, inspire, develop and coach the Team to perform to the highest professional standard using appropriate delegation and development plan.
  • Efficiently communicate Change Management activities for the Company, Team, Stream.
  • Set up Training and Talent plan for the Team in collaboration with HR Department.
  • Ensure regular 1 : 1 meetings and Bi-yearly KPI review for all Team members
  • Logistics Service provider (LSP) and Site Relationship Management
  • Monitor LSP performance through the KPI review on a monthly basis
  • Conduct quarterly reviews with LSP to discuss on strategic requirements
  • Manage escalation with the LSP account managers and sites on high profile Items
  • Work closely with the AGI order management team on high profile items and optimize storage at site.
  • Work Closely with the SC project team to proactively identify and set up new shipping lanes or new LSPs as required by projects
  • Manage escalation with All Streams, affiliates and Group high profile Items
  • Participate in contract set up and update with Head of supply chain
  • Participate in SCL Budget set up with Head of supply chain
  • Lead meetings, cross stream workshops and participate in Strategic and management meetings
  • Drive, lead and assign Process improvement initiatives with the Team
  • SCL Projects Manage and Lead projects related meeting for assigned multi-stream projects.Manage and Lead SC Stream projects initiatives from the TeamEnsure and monitor SC Team member performance assigned to multi-
  • stream and SC specific Projects

  • Manage escalation with Key internal and external Stakeholder on high profile project Items
  • Reporting Report internally on Operations, Project Performance and strategic implementation to the Head of Supply Chain.
  • Report on Operations Strategic actions to the COOReport internally on LSP Performance Risks and strategic action to the Leadership Team.

  • Strategy Actively participate in the strategy decision making for the company and the SC DepartmentDrive actions and deployment of the Team Leader forum initativeDeploy and communicate the strategic decision to the Logistics Team
  • Requirements

    What you will need to be considered

  • Degree or post graduate degree in Business management or related field.
  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in a leadership role in an international environment.
  • Intermediate MS and Excel Proficiency.
  • ERP exposure required.
  • Experience in Leading Projects.
  • Applicant must already be residing in Mauritius.
