Synopsis

Helpdesk Support Agent - Salary R8500 and additional hourly rate when working late shift (anytime after 6pm), Permanent role, Blouberg, Open to all, Rotational Shifts 7-

16H00 or 11-20H00 or 14-23H00 (International Company - hours due to timezones)

Purpose

The role would largely be a non-technical support desk role. Troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action.

You would be part of a team based in Cape Town & will work closely with the Head Office Team in the UK.

Must have :
  • Matric
  • Matric
  • Can use public transport
  • Good communication skills preferably English written and verbal (International clients)
  • Computer Strong computer knowledge MS Office and CAD or CHATHAM
  • CREDIT / CRIM Clear back ground checks will be done on jobs and the rest.
  • Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • respond to requests for assistance electronically
  • diagnose issues & decide on best course of action
  • research questions using available information resources
  • advise user on appropriate action
  • follow standard help desk procedures
  • log all help desk interactions
  • redirect problems to correct resource
  • identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
  • prepare activity reports
  • inform management of recurring problems
  • stay current with system information, changes and updates and contractual obligations
  • Experience

  • knowledge of relevant call tracking applications
  • knowledge and experience of customer service practices
  • related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing help desk support
