Purpose of role :

As Presales Consultant at CDK you will demonstrate our solutions to customers and works together with account managers to qualify prospects and customers who are in the sales cycle.

You will help meet the business sales targets through professional diligence in meeting the needs of the customers, maintaining complete customer satisfaction and applying the CDK Sales strategy / model.

Key Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Articulate the company’s technology and product portfolio to the customer in order to understand the customer technical and business requirements to ultimately demonstrate how CDK's products can address their needs
  • Work with Product Management to feedback on issues with current product offerings and provide input around new products.
  • Develop and maintain CDK product proficiency and competency levels by attending appropriate training with relevant departments.
  • Maintain knowledge of latest industry trends / KPI’s and competitor solutions
  • Construct and deliver that ensures that the Sales teams understand our technologies to the required level
  • Provide accurate and timely management information, to include activity reports, reviews forecasts and KPI’s
  • Qualify, tailor and present DMS and other software product to best fit the customer profile and needs

  • Presales and Sales experience, preferably in the IT solution industry and / or the Automotive sector
  • Experience in presenting technology solutions in a solutions environment
  • Fluent English and Afrikaans
  • Customer focussed - maturity and diplomacy to handle the various levels within the target client organizations.
