The Department of the Premier’s Provincial Forensic Services seeks to permanently appoint a suitably qualified person to conduct forensic investigations.
The person must be willing to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines and portray a professional work ethic.
It will be required of the successful post incumbent to travel throughout the Western Cape, although the position is stationed in Cape Town.
A valid Code B driving licence.
Experience in Local Government sphere.
Key Performance Areas
Conducting investigations through meticulous fact finding and evidence retrieval within allocated time frames; Drafting factual reports containing appropriate findings, recommendations and subsequent follow-
up of recommendations made; Testifying in disciplinary hearings and in criminal trials; Developing and maintaining professional relationships with all stakeholders.
Project management skills; Communication (written and verbal) skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
R 356 289 per annum (Salary level 9)
