Euromonitor International seeks a Research Analyst (RA) to join its country research team. This is a great opportunity for someone wishing to further a career in market research.
Each Research Analyst has, at any one time, various project-specific responsibilities as well as wider spheres of responsibility within the unit's global projects.
You will combine direct research and analysis with commissioning, controlling and editing the work of research associates in the field.
Although RAs could potentially be required to work outside their geographic focus, the vast majority of time is spent working in defined national markets.

Commissioning and editing expertise
Research Analysts work as a team and are responsible for updating and developing sections of new and existing data sets and reports for the FMCG industries covered. The role includes :
Secondary research, to gather published information;
Collating and analysing new research;
Client-facing responsibilities, which include to client queries, attending conferences, giving presentations etc.
Commissioning of research (will develop into this role);
Editing text and data;
Assessing and improving overall product quality;
Building research contacts and developing regional expertise.
The ability to work independently and under pressure to tight deadlines
The ability to work in a team
Organisational skills in order to structure the workload in the best possible way
Numeracy, with an ability to interpret, analyse and present statistics in an interesting way
Good report writing skills and an excellent command of both written and spoken English
A confident manner and strong communication skills, both oral and written
A degree in market research / economics or business-related discipline is preferred but not a requirement
Research experience is advantageous
