This position reports to the Head of Sales & Account Managers for Mr D Food.
Your responsibilities will include :
Manage a team of Account Managers to achieve Mr D Food’s restaurant related acquisition, retention and revenue goals across Gauteng, Free State and northern regions.
Drive overall business strategy within the Gauteng and northern sales teams.
Prioritise team tasks on a weekly basis and monitor team performance.
Set and Manage individual goals & targets for the Account Managers and motivate them to achieve stretch goals.
Ensure ongoing product knowledge amongst sales team and restaurant partners.
Identify and prioritise restaurant partners to add to the Mr D Food platform.
Identify and execute on opportunities to drive customer delight through our restaurant partners.
Monitor competitors on a set of determined metrics.
Analyse restaurant operational performance and initiate activities to resolve issues.
Serve as a second tier escalation point for national brand partners within the Gauteng region for service related issues.
Report to Head of Restaurant Partnerships on team performance and activity.
Report on Gauteng and northern regions restaurant revenue and operational performance.
Recruit additional account managers in line with business needs.

Experience leading a sales team of more than 10 people.
Proven track record of hitting goals and targets.
Competence in Excel.
Minimum 3 years sales management experience.
