  • Degree in Quality control / Quality Assurance / Analytical chemistry / Lab Technology or related discipline.
  • Five (5) years post graduate Quality Assurance / Quality Control in manufacturing / processing industry work experience.

  • Responsibilities :

  • Conducts inspections and sign-off on finished goods to ensure that they comply with quality and packaging standards before they are dispatched to clients.
  • Monitors risk management activities
  • Evaluates and recommends non-conforming product write-off and disposal.
  • Advises management on matters of business risk relating to quality and market competition and contribute to strategies designed to improve the business’s competitiveness and performance of the business as a whole.
  • Undertakes appropriate quality control checks / internal audits and issue reports
  • Manages performance of supporting staff.
  • Liaises with the factory manager for the implementation of Good Manufacturing
  • Practices (GMP) and other international standards as per production requirements.

  • Oversees and Develops factory Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Develops in-house quality testing procedures / standard / specifications
  • Assures the quality requirements of all raw materials.
  • Analyzes data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
  • Develops, recommends and monitors corrective and preventive actions in production
  • Ensures that the manufacturing process complies with national and international standards.
  • Prepares quality assurance documents, reports and summarize information and trends including failed process, stability studies, corrective action and re-validation.
  • Prepares monthly quality acceptance reports.
  • Ensures that all the laboratory and production equipment are in operational condition.
  • Calibrates all measuring equipment.
  • Determines staff training needs.
  • Liaises with external standards associations and arrange for periodic external audits that assist in meeting international production and product standards.
  • Evaluates audit findings and takes and implements appropriate corrective actions.
  • Scans consumer demands on quality as well as other market trends and takes appropriate action including advising the Head of the Factory.
  • Where appropriate arrange for external laboratory test.
  • Attend to customer complaints and ensures resolution of such complaints / concerns
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by superior from time to time
