Introduction AVBOB,Africa,'s Largest Mutual Assurance Society Providing a One-Stop Funeral Insurance and Burial Society Has a vacancy in Pretoria CBD For a Manager ICT Job Functions Information Technology Industries Financial Services,Information Technology,Insurance Specification Manage and provide direction for the teams in support achieving departmental operational objectives.

Coordinate the collaboration between Business Analyst, Developers in the testing of applications in conjunction with the Manager : Application Development.

Contribution as a member of the ICT Senior Management team.

Resource planning and management to support departmental

operational

Ensure the development of the BA staff on how to gather relevant business information.

Conduct high level analysis to support BAU issues, change and implementation.

Prioritize projects assigned to the Business Analyst team

Works on special IT projects as and when required

Assist with the planning and development of the overall ICT strategic planning to ensure operational business needs are met across the Group

Oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of processes to elicit requirements using appropriate business analysis skills and techniques

Oversee the communication and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements.

Oversee the delivery the following as needed : Business Requirement documentation, Business requirement specifications, Screen and Interface designs, integration design, in accordance to the change control process.

Oversee the reviewing project plans to determine time-frame, budget limitations, procedures for accomplishing scheduled work, staffing and administrative requirements and allocation of available resources to various phases of the project.

Approve the establishment of work plan and staffing for each phase of the project.

Oversee the creation of a quality control plan to measure the quality of each deliverable.

Manage the applications or business driver in line with specific requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

B.Sc. or B.Com degree with Computer Science / Information Technology.

A relevant Master’s Degree / MBA will be advantageous.

Project Management certification (Prince2 / PMBOK).

Relevant Business Analysis qualification essential.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Good problem solving and analytical skills.

Agile Scrum, Waterfall SDLC methodologies.

FTI Business Analysis.

Financial acumen, the ability to keep abreast with current technology, proven ability to think strategically and the ability to solve problems with ease should be among your skills.

Understanding, Business / System Analyst area of knowledge.

Good understanding of SDLC conceptual model.

High level of strategic planning and objectives.

Maintaining standards and policies.

Project management knowledge and experience.

Professional knowledge of large development as well as technical projects.
