Main Purpose :

As a Business Analyst, your primary purpose will be to efficiently and effectively manage the gathering and analysis of business requirements from users to deliver respective outputs on IT projects within estimated time and cost, in order to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Apply a set of tasks and techniques used to liaise with relevant stakeholders on project requirements in order to understand the problems, opportunities, needs, structure, policies and operations of the organisation and recommend solutions that enable the organisation to achieve its goals

Create value to the business through the alignment of the offering to the business needs and coordinate the project through its life cycle

Analyse and design new and enhanced business processes

Establish and clarify User requirements and ensure that requirements are accurately specified for Projects and Change Requests

Prepare and maintain standard Project Management documentation and ensure that they are signed off by the relevant Stakeholders

Integration with Development Teams to ensure effective delivery of user requirements

Ensure that the Development Team delivers the solutions according to the specifications signed off by the relevant Stakeholders

Work with the relevant Testing resources to outline the Project plan and Testing deliverables, in order to successfully reach the specific Testing milestones, within the agreed timelines

Support the Project Managers with the analysis and administration of the various Projects, in order to collectively meet the objectives of each Task / Project assigned

Minimum Requirements : Grade 12

Grade 12

Business Analysis Diploma or relevant IT qualification (advantageous)

Business Analysis experience (advantageous)

Business Process Design and Requirements Gathering experience

Experience collaborating with IT Departments

Testing experience, or working closely with Testers (advantageous)

Retail or Financial Services experience (preferred)
