Job Purpose

Accountability for delivering digital solutions to Internal stakeholders that serve the Wealth

businesses and ensuring that features are built, deployed, adopted and run in order to deliver to well defined business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Digitally enable the services provided by Global Markets to the Group’s internal users and clients
  • Identify, analyse and solve for important digital solutions to the Group and why, also understand how outcomes fits into the target business and thus bring judgement and influence to ensure success.
  • In Partnership with various business units drive the shared strategic Digital Goals in relation to the Wealth Digital strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with various internal stakeholders, across all countries and areas of the Bank.
  • Keep abreast and be aware of Digital Innovations and Changes taking place globally.
  • Develop, socialise and manage multiple digitisation roadmaps and the implementation thereof across the group and regions with emphasis on clear data and measurable outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key senior stakeholders and management to ensure sponsorship and alignment of the digitalization rollout
  • An appreciation for, and understanding of, Agile Delivery Methodologies and working within an Agile environment.
  • Drive the adoption of all digital assets across Wealth.
  • Preferred Qualification and Experience

  • D rive and be responsible for the delivery of digital services to internal users in the Bank :

  • Lead and manage diverse virtual teams to deliver digital solutions to our clients and the group.
  • Manage end to end stakeholder’s participation in the digitalisation value chain across the bank and geographies to ensure that they are all understand and are aware of the initiatives and the resources required to ensure successful roll out and operation of the initiative.
  • Identify and solve for, across the bank, areas where there is a need to drive the digital change, develop and co-ordinate a solution from end to end, ensuring delivery, measurement and continuity.
  • Ensure that the relevant business units are prepared for, and able to incorporate the digital solution or process developments into their operating models in a timeous manner so that the economic benefits may be realised.
  • Identify and solve the inhibitors and / or obstacles of change and success that arise through working together toward a shared business outcome within the universal bank environment.
  • Where appropriate, design and drive a pilot run of the solution recommended to ensure that it addresses the problem identified.
  • Ensuring support structures post-implementation of digital solutions and processes are communicated and in place to ensure sustainability.
  • Ensuring sales are aware of the initiative, are equipped to sell it and upskilled where necessary.
  • Ensuring fit-for purpose documentation is in place (operational, support, sales material etc.).
  • Ensuring that the requisite MIS reporting is in place as aligned to bank’s digital data strategy.
  • Ensuring successful handover of the initiative process to client services, technical support and the application production owners and sales teams.
  • Identify and improve on areas with bottlenecks with the aim of reducing the time to market for initiatives, improve accuracy, consistency and scalability.

  • Drive and identify ways to improve the speed of transition from technical delivery to being in accepted production use as part of the sales offering.
  • D rive Stakeholder Engagement at the Release Train Priority Review meeting :

  • Facilitate synergies with Wealth and stakeholder from all areas across the Bank that work together toward achieving the agreed outcomes.
  • Drive through the Release Train Priority Review meeting the necessary discussion and implement the changes to ensure that all teams across the bank working together are aligned and remain aligned around the intended business outcome.
  • i.e. run the solutions council forum- agile methodology).
