A prominent and market leading international company, specializing in state-of-the-art Cavity Pump manufacturing requires the above to achieve pump sales through market research and growing a strong customer base within South Africa and other African countries.
Minimum requirements for the role :
A Matric with Mathematics is essential.
A tertiary Engineering qualification for technical sales is essential.
A tertiary Sales or Marketing Diploma or BTech degree or related qualification is preferred but not essential.
Previous experience having worked in pump sales in an engineering and or industrial or related environment is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for :
Building customer relationships though targeted client entertainment and public relations activities, including delivering invitations, following up on attendance etc.
and improving the company’s reputation through excellent service delivery.
Researching current projects and identifying potential customers to generate sales leads.
Providing advice and recommendations for products and or spares to clients.
Working with internal teams to determine delivery, procurement and the assembly of products, to meet customer requirements.
Monitoring sales to ensure targets are met and ensuring that all sales information is captured on CRM.
Following up on all orders, quotes and outstanding payments on a weekly basis.
Liaising with relevant departments to solve queries and resolve any problems efficiently.
Attending sales meetings and providing input, as and when required.
Collaborating with external suppliers or project teams to provide a full-service solution to clients.
Undertaking research on product developments and ensuring up-to-date knowledge on industry developments.
Sourcing alternate pumps and spares where required.
