Frost & Sullivan is looking for a senior member of its Chemicals, Materials and Foods market insight practice, to be based in Cape Town.

  • The role will involve a combination of research, consulting delivery and business development. You will lead the Africa Transformational Health team, located in South Africa and India;
  • and will be able to call on the insight of professionals from our offices around the world.

    We expect you to have a good level of education in a Chemicals, Materials and Foods-related subject, and either a Sciences degree or commercial experience.

    You should have experience of managing small or mid-sized teams. A business development track record with GM- and C-level clients would be a significant advantage.

    Responsibilities :

  • Meeting business unit targets for project fulfilment and revenue generation
  • Driving research content and client strategy within the industry; working closely with counterpart global teams
  • Contributing directly to confidential custom projects, utilizing specialist knowledge and research / strategic analysis skills
  • Recruitment & selection, management and development of the Transformational Health practice’s business development and research teams
  • Meeting with clients and helping to develop strong business relationships
  • Qualifications :

  • Chemicals, Materials and Foods-related degree / other suitable qualification
  • 3+ Years’ business experience, preferably in the Chemicals, Materials and Foods industry
  • 3+ Years’ experience using / producing market research or strategic business consulting in Africa / on African markets
  • 3+ Years in a management position
  • Thorough understanding of research methodologies or strategic market analysis and of business and market strategy disciplines
