The successful incumbent should have a Grade 12certificate with 3 years warehousing experience as well as have knowledge ofthe Afrox standards, procedures and audits.
Previous supervisor and / or peoplemanagement experience is essential and the ability to operate independently andoptimize resources.
Knowledge of the Afrox products and experience with SAPWarehouse Management is essential. Further competencies required includeCross-

Supervising the SHEQ processes with National Hard Goods Warehouse to achieve safety targets, building commitment to sustain improvements in SHEQ and champion safety initiatives.
Ensuring appropriate actions are implemented to address outcomes from accidents and near miss investigations
Supervising the Inventory by ensuring counts are completed according to the process and mainting a high accuracy
Ensuring safe handling and security of stock and assets
Ensuring all necessary actions are taken to maintain and retain an ISO9001 certification
Participating in risk assessments
Providing inspirational leadership to and effectively Supervise, the Inventory and Exports team in a manner that meets all company HR standards, including assisting with the recruitment and induction of new employees
Ensuring performance management contracts are in place and are managed on an on-going basis
Adhering to ER policies, procedures and standards to ensure staff are trained and developed to meet the required competencies of the job (Licence to Work) on an on-going basis
Taking ownership of customer service as measured by Replenished in Full on Time (RIFOT) measure, to ensure the company targets are met or exceeded
Establishing and maintaining effective communication systems with employees, REA, CSC and supplying Warehouses
