JOB SUMMARY :

AR & Credit Management UMD & Intercompany

  • Master Data responsibility for accurate and complete data of new account completion
  • Manage routine Overdue or about to become due debtactivities
  • Receive / prepare payment plans
  • Advise on litigation / bad debt
  • Generatecorrespondence / dunning requests / account statements
  • Follow up the collection activities for rejected claims (where deduction has taken place)
  • Follow up on routine cash application requests
  • Review customer cash position and contact customers, if needed
  • Master Data responsibility for basic master data verification & amendmentsto customer accounts
  • Address details, contact details, account blocks and risk type adjustments
  • Apply diagnostic and analytical skills to; evaluate ledger to identify key issues to be raised with internal teams, customers and prioritize work plan forward, to review month end reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Credit management and regular review of credit limit setting
  • Service

  • Responsible for stock availability loss in the CCFOT loss tree
  • Short term gap closing / demand management
  • Eliminates tactical and strategic service losses through daily DR RCA
  • Assesses exceptions for all stocks for FM & SEA
  • Supply and Demand Reconciliation

  • Reconcile demand and supply through interfaces with Demand planners and SU supply planners on APO
  • Track changes in forecast across all export FM / SEA customers, ensuring they comply with acceptable variances
  • F inished Goods Inventory Planning

  • Ensure forecasted volumes are exported with minimal impact to total southern Africa working capital
  • Flag risks to WC and plans to mitigate through direct relationships with MCO CCD’s
  • Maintains accurate view of forward stock availability
  • Resolves supply / demand imbalances with support from Imports / Exports Team·
  • Support the resolution of constraints in the supply plan

  • Identifies exceptions where there is insufficient supply to match demand
  • Identify unavoidable constraints and communicate those to stakeholders
  • Innovation and Renovation

  • Ensures all markets are fully aware and aligned to operationalize innovations and renovations, adhering to all market regulations
  • Working Capital Management :

  • Actively manages and tracks total category working capital values against agreed target levels.
  • Manages the finished goods obsolete and excessive stocks in the total network, and works with the supply chain and customer teams in order to prevent write offs.
  • Owns and drives the category strategic stock reduction programme
  • Managing slow and obsolete FG and ensure that provisions are raised timeously.
  • Reporting and Communication

  • Decision support on S&OP (weekly ops, supply, input into shape)
  • Cost, service, cash & quality trade offs
  • Understand drivers behind variances and explain Supply Chain KPI’s to rest of business
  • Management of SAP master data and ensure only active FG exist.
  • Complexity Management

  • Work closely with demand planning team to drive complexity reduction in terms of skus and tail cutting
  • MasterData

  • Ensure all Demand forecast flowing through on APO correctly
  • KEY REQUIREMENTS :

  • University Degree / Diploma, Finance / Financial Accounting / Accounting
  • Five years’ experience in Supply Chain Management with at least two years in Production Planning
  • APICS (module 1-2) to be completed in the first 18 months on the jobPlanning and functional business process knowledge
