  • Be responsible for the achievement of financial and market share targets for a brand or group of brands in the market.
  • Work across functions including, supply, sales and finance to develop and execute successful commercial plans.
  • Manage initiative development and activation of any local brands in the portfolio including development of new products, consumer and shopper communications.
  • Be responsible for marketing for a brand or group of brands in the market with responsibility for activation excellence.
  • Generate and propose business development initiatives for the brand(s) based on consumer, shopper and market understanding.
  • Support the Trade Marketing team as required in the implementation of the store-format activation plans or optimizing product assortment and promotional strategy.
  • Support the Sales team in creating customer presentations and meeting customer requirements.
  • A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Brand Manager to join our Marketing team. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting the development of the overall category strategy, and you will be expected to drive the growth of your assigned brands through excellent marketing execution.

    As an integral member of an experienced and dynamic Marketing Team you will :

  • Competency to pull and analyze market data and utilize insights to drive strategic marketing and business initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of shopper principles and category management.
  • Stakeholder management and the ability to influence, network and lead to drive alignment and facilitate decision making.
  • Well-developed capability on Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to develop a brand strategy with a thorough demonstration of how to translate marketing principles and insights into tangible plans and activities.
  • Solid business acumen to deliver business cases and ROI around marketing initiatives, innovation, risks and opportunities.
  • Understanding and managing of Profit & Loss and the drivers of revenue and profit.
  • Must be RSA citizen.
