Purpose

To provide support in Gauteng and surrounding areas for the installation, repairs and maintenance of printers.

Formal Education and Experience

Grade 12 or equivalent

Minimum of 3 years industry experience in Kyocera products, MYQsoftware and Service Desk Operations

Basic Knowledge of incident ticketing systems

Must have a conceptual understanding of network infrastructure, printer infrastructure and topologies

Technical Certification

Relevant OEM certifications

Financial Perspective

Manage operational expenses

  • Accurate record keeping of related items (travel,cell phone,overtime, standby, leave, etc).
  • Ensure all relatec consumables and replacement parts are procured
  • Manage tools of trade

  • Responsible for application and maintenance of assigned equipment (iPad, tools etc)
  • Time and material

  • Ensure correct procedure, i.e. quote, job card and approved sign off from clients is follwed as per client requirements
  • Time management

  • Accurate timekeeping in ESS
  • End user support

  • Resolved logged incidents as per contract
  • Understand scope, priority and timeline of assigned workload
  • Communicate, dress and display positive attitude
  • Quality incident resolution

  • Ensure incidents are resolved on first contact
  • Compliance to pending rules

  • Ensure compliance to pending rules are followed
  • Preventative maintenance

  • Identify possible risks and report to Manager
  • Pre-installation audits

  • Ensure pre-installation ausits conducted and maximum optimisation of printers achieved
  • Compliance

  • Ensure compliance to relevant client checklist / SOP
  • Ensure closure of tasks and incidents timeously
  • Follows standards / uses standard toolsets
  • Learning and Growth

  • Ensure CV is updated and remains current on talent management system
  • Participate in activities as described in personal development plan (PDP)
  • Participate in opprtunities for knowledgge sharing within the team an relevant communties of practice (COP's)
  • Relevant training programmes attended.
