Job Description Primary Purpose of the Role Accountable for the end-to-end ownership of the account within BCX by managing C-
suite relationships, developing account strategies, and overseeing sales and service delivery. Accountable for the full profitability of all clients within the vertical.
Key Responsibilities Strategy Oversee the end-to-end ownership of the Account
To develop the portfolio strategy in line with the relevant vertical sales strategy taking into consideration the portfolio strategy, business and financial risks, competition, regulatory environments, current opportunities, customer buying centre, key relationships, up-
sell opportunities, customer road map and budget (account portfolios vary in terms of size, complexity and revenue potential).
Develop necessary partnership strategies with client on their IT needs, supporting in the realization of their overall ICT strategy / business strategies
Lead the build strategic agenda in conjunction with Heads of Vertical and Customer Strategy, to determine the most effective sales approach
Develop effective business development strategy necessary partnership strategies with client on their IT needs, for the realization of the overall strategy Financial Responsible for the Account P&L
Control full account P&L with a view to growing account revenue and controlling costs
Share of wallet
Manage and coordinate account management activities to protect and increase revenue within existing clients
Ensure all financial policies and procedures are adhered to on a continual basis
Accept accountability and responsibility for financial and budgetary targets in line with Sales financial objectives
Manage and spend within the agreed Sales budgets.
To meet the financial targets of the business and ensure adherence of good business practice, statutory and corporate governance requirements.
Responsible for managing the Account budget and spend within the agreed objectives Operational Take ownership of C-suite relationships
Build effective relationships with key C-suite stakeholders (e.g. CIO, COO)
Develop BCX partnerships with internal stakeholders, to build BCX’s reputation as a trusted partner with the client to effectively meet their IT needs
Qualify sales opportunities and manage solution sales and design
Accountable for full contract management of the clients.
Oversees contract management to ensure an oversight of proposal development Customer Oversee Service Delivery (ensure BCX delivering high quality customer service) to ensure customer satisfaction
Oversee the development and execution of the Service Delivery Implementation strategy and takes full accountability.
Ensure contracted delivery according to the agreed SLA to ensure a high quality customer service and customer satisfaction, People Direct line management of Engagement Team
Lead the BCX way : Motivate and coach the team to deliver against performance targets, develop and enhance team effectiveness and direct reports, manage and maintain the attraction and retention of talent, and manage and empower people to execute operations.
Taking cognisance of varying organisational cultures and the impact on relationships.
Represent BCX in a professional capacity with all client engagements.
