Job Description To provide reliable and accurate Vehicle Costing, Production variance and Reporting (for Small vehicles).

To provide information to meet objectives with regards to Forecasting and Budgeting and below requirements : Key Job Functions Review Vehicle costing for Current production as well as for Goshi, MPT & Ad-hoc costing

Assess reasonableness & accuracy for monthly update of Costing, in terms of bill of material (BOM) & pricing accuracy.

Review & analyse Production variance & reporting thereof to ensure it is kept to an acceptable level.

Manage the monitoring of consumption & related processes.

Ensure the continuous evaluation of vehicle costing system and processes for areas of improvements / enhancements.

Liaise with various internal departments to resolve Master data & other relevant issues impacting on costing process.

Co-ordination & Compilation of Vehicle Materials Budget

Co-ordination & Compilation of Materials Forecast for Small Vehicles, Trucks & Quantum

Co-ordination & Compilation & calculate WIP provision for Small Vehicles, Trucks & Quantum

Review & monitor Local vendor APR and assess financial impact.

Review & analyse backdating account & accrual schedule for local vendors.

Support on ad-hoc costing requests.

Ensure SOX compliance.

Co-ordinate and manage department activities according to timing plan

Conduct regular department meetings and feedback sessions

Conduct staff performance reviews and feedback sessions on developmental areas and training required. Qualifications and Experience NQF6 (360 credits) majoring in Accounting or Management accounting

Managerial accounting / Costing experience in a Manufacturing environment (Minimum of 3 -5 years)

Excellent SAP and MS Excel skills are essential

Advanced computer literacy (Essential) (MS Excel)

Good business acumen (Advantageous) Competencies Accurate Information gathering and analysis
