The company has three available positions in their Cape Town office :

Technical Support Engineers (Tiers 1, 2 and 3)

Technical Support Engineer Tier 1 :

Essential Requirements :

  • Microsoft Desktop Operating systems
  • Microsoft Productivity suites
  • Administration of Microsoft Server 2008 / 2012
  • Administration of Office 365
  • Administration of Microsoft Active Directory; Microsoft Exchange 2010 / 2013 / 2016
  • Other requirements :

  • Knowledge of monitoring systems (PRTG)
  • Knowledge of PSA tools
  • Knowledge of RMM tools
  • Technical Support Engineer Tier 2 :

    Essential Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or MCSE / MCP / CCNA certification are desirable
  • Minimum 2 years 2
  • Line hands-on experience in IT desktop / server support role

  • Excellent inter-personal skills with good time management
  • Microsoft Desktop Operating systems; Microsoft Productivity Suites
  • Backup Solutions (Veritas Backup Exec, Max Backup, Ahsay, Attix5)
  • Administration of Server 2008 / 2012
  • Administration of Microsoft Active Directory; Microsoft Exchange 2010 / 2013 / 2016
  • Administration of Office 365; Microsoft Azure
  • Other Requirements :

  • Virtual technology (VMware, vSphere, Hyper-V)
  • Networking (Cisco firewalls, Cisco switches, HP switches)
  • Storage solutions (NetApp, EMC, Dell, HP)
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Basic Linux knowledge
  • Knowledge of monitoring systems (PRTG)
  • Knowledge of PSA tools
  • Knowledge of RMM tools
  • Technical Support Engineer Tier 3 :

    Essential Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or MCSE / MCP / CCNA certification are desirable
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in IT desktop / server support role
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with good time management
  • Other requirements :

  • Administration / Migration of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Administration / Migration of Microsoft Exchange 2012 / 2013 / 2016
  • Administration / Migration of Microsoft Server Roles 2008 / 2012
  • Microsoft Windows Operating systems
  • Virtual technology (VMware, vSphere, Hyper-V)
  • Other virtual server environments (XEN, KVM)
  • Networking (Cisco firewalls, Cisco switches, HP switches)
  • Storage solutions (NetApp, EMC, Dell, HP)
  • Backup solutions (Veritas BackupExec, Max Backup, vRanger)
  • Networking (Firewall, Switch, VLAN, VPN, HP)
  • Knowledge of monitoring systems (PRTG)
  • Microsoft Server Services
  • Linux (Squid, Postfix, Bind, Apache, BRBD, MySQL, Redhat)
  • Successful candidates will be operating from the Cape Town office and will be working on UK hours (10am – 7pm).
