Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the E- learning system ensuring that all the necessary training tools are written to the standard required, and maintained as and when required
  • Coordinate and manage the monthly Induction Programme. This would include monitoring the progress of new starters and conducting follow-
  • up training as and when required

  • Manage and maintain the Performance Management process and system on a monthly basis to ensure that all employees are linked to a Performance Contract and understand what the performance requirements are
  • Provide the necessary training and support during performance management cycle
  • Conduct Training audit and compile necessary Training Plan
  • Compile and submit the Workplace Skills Plan to SASSETA
  • Compile and submit the Employment Equity Plan to the DOL
  • Compile and submit and monitor the relevant information required for the annual B-BBEE assessment
  • Co-ordinate and assist the Professional Development Manager with training initiatives where required
  • Attend to ad-hoc training requirements of all Partners and staff on a monthly basis and provide the relevant reports on such training
  • Manage relationships with external training providers and assess the effectiveness of training provided
  • Requirements

    Skills, Knowledge and Competencies

  • A meticulous person who is proficient in English
  • Computer literacy in MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to prioritise, work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to use initiative and work under pressure
  • Accuracy in work and attention to detail
  • Must be able to multi task
  • Qualifications and Experience

  • HR degree, or similar relevant qualification
  • Registered Skills Development Facilitator (SDF)
  • Minimum of 4 years of working within the Learning and Development profession
