DescriptionBrief Description

Main Purpose :

  • The incumbent will be responsible for researching, monitoring and evaluating projects, including developing and improving evaluation designs and instrumentation;
  • creating and maintaining a database of relevant literature reviews; conducting interviews, focus groups and systematic observations;
  • collecting, coding, analysing, interpreting quantitative and qualitative data and reporting on findings; conducting educational research in order to ensure that the evaluation needs of the projects are met and operating in the most efficient and effective way.

    The incumbent will also be responsible in assisting with project design, project coordination and administration services.

  • Understanding, application and knowledge of the latest debates and developments in education theory;
  • Practical experience in implementation oriented research;
  • Demonstrated ability to design and manage databases, perform quantitative data analyses and prepare quality research reports summarizing data analyses;
  • Versatility to apply quantitative and qualitative methodologies to subject matter across disciplinary boundaries;
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project database management ;
  • A strong user orientation, based on commitment to human and social research that makes a difference;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to access, process, communicate and produce information and research findings using a range of technologies in an accessible manner to 1) academics, 2)students 3)stakeholders, 4) the broader public.
  • Handle and protect confidential and sensitive data with integrity.

  • Requirements :

  • Qualifications : A Master’s degree, preferably in Research or Social Psychology
  • Experience : A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Higher Education sector

  • The incumbent will be required to submit an original piece of writing and will be required to participate in a research analysis competency assessment.
