Your key job responsibilities as the Senior Marketing Specialist in Johannesburg will include :

  • Contribute to planning overall marketing strategy and initiatives and creating content calendar
  • Execution of all marketing initiatives
  • Lead events strategy including tradeshow participation, sponsorship opportunities, company-hosted events, and annual sales meeting
  • Manage digital marketing activities including company website, social media, and email campaigns
  • Design and develop sales and marketing collateral, online and print advertisements, press releases, presentations, and white papers
  • Create and distribute weekly divisional newsletter; contribute material to quarterly company-wide newsletter
  • Foster relationships with media contacts and monitor editorial calendars to identify PR opportunities
  • Track marketing metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); compile reports for upper management
  • Manage all brand elements such as logos, presentations proposal templates, ads and other look and feel media
  • Assist in maintaining marketing calendar and budget
  • Requirements for this Senior Marketing Specialist job in Johannesburg :

  • 3+ years’ experience in a senior marketing role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing , Public Relations, Communications, or related discipline preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in another field with commensurate experience will also be considered
  • Experience in online marketing including SEO, PPC, link building and social media
  • Strong experience building and maintaining lead lists and database marketing
  • Basic web coding knowledge (such as HTML, CSS, PHP)
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and web analysis tools
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Background in B2B and / or B2G marketing of technology products
  • History of executing email and other direct campaigns
  • Strong writing skills
