What You'll Do
You will be responsible for bringing the Cisco value proposition and brand promise to life in innovative ways through digital channels, including social media.
You will drive a deeper customer engagement and experience between Cisco and our customers using all digital channels.
You will develop the digital strategy and execution plan for the country including success metrics.
You will understand and align with the local country marketing objectives (which will reflect business objectives) and plans, and ensure activity aligns to global and regional digital and marketing objectives.
You will manage the local Cisco.com website, Campaigns and event Landing Pages in alignment with company strategy and in coordination with the broader Digital Team.
You will partner with local country / countries marketing team(s) to establish coordination of message, touch points, and frequency across customer-facing channels.
You will develop and execute social plans, define social marketing mix, and work with local and wider teams to craft and deliver social concepts / tactics in support of campaigns and launches (blogs, communities, advocacy, influencer, DG, paid media).
You will own the social media roadmap, goals and metrics
You will ideate and manage social brand advocacy and engagement programs to continue to generate positive brand experience.
You will drive new ideas for leveraging social media channels as a key element for lead generation efforts.
You will support Content Managers in executing search engine optimization (SEO) campaigns across multiple digital properties.
You will lead the customer journey and experience design efforts to identify customer needs.
You will champion the customer throughout the organization and enable customer exposure, empathy, and understanding of campaigns.
You will develop metrics, reporting, and analytics to understand and optimize program drivers and impact.
You will identify new opportunities to deepen engagement and expansion with existing customers.
You will streamline the decision journey to efficiently move the customer through the process to achieve their goals.
You will develop a series of stories & conversations with customers for key solution and architecture areas.
You will use existing automation tools to innovate our journeys with personalization and contextual interactions.

Who You Are
Social Media expertise and activism
Deep process expertise in marketing online channels and cross-channel integration
Ability to develop actionable insights from data to influence business decisions
Ability to synthesize results from various sources of information to provide recommendations
Proven experience in design thinking and empathizing with the customer
Proven expertise in working in a similar role
Knowledge of Marketing Automation tools e.g. Oracle Eloqua
Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, or Psychology or equivalent industry experience
Preference will be given to employment equity candidates
