Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Be the lead auditor or a team member on audits.
  • Plan, execute and report on audits in compliance with the approved audit standards.
  • Identification and assessment of internal controls.
  • Report constructively on audit findings and making appropriate recommendations.
  • Evaluating and monitoring the implementation of recommendations made.
  • The mentoring of and transfer of skills to junior team members during audit engagements.
  • Maintain positive professional relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Requirements :

  • B degree in Internal Auditing or equivalent.
  • Post graduate audit qualifications will be advantageous.
  • Professional internal audit certifications will be advantageous.
  • At least 5 years audit experience.
  • Completion of SAICA articles will be advantageous.
  • Insurance industry exposure will be advantageous.
  • This position will be based in George, Western Cape
