Job Purpose

  • To provide a first line support function for all system matters relating to the Wholesale Finance Ecosystem (i.e. Operations, Finance, Payouts and Receivables, Stock Audits, etc.
  • to internal and external users (e.g., dealers, auctioneers, etc.).

    Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

    First line support

  • Logs all first line support system queries received via telephone, email, etc. either from internal or external users (e.
  • g., dealers, stock auditors, etc.).

  • Investigates the query and resolves (e.g., password resets, system error messages, file transfers, etc.).
  • Where required, escalates query for 2nd level assistance (e.g., System Integration Manager / / external vendor / IT or Data Administrator).
  • Retains ownership of query and provides continuous feedback to the requester.
  • Ensures that queries are resolved within SLA (turnaround time based on priority).
  • Correctly escalates matters to the internal and / or external vendors and provides timeous and appropriate responses to requester.
  • System access and maintenance

  • Creates and updates internal and external user access in line with permissions / approvals.
  • Provides relevant input on system enhancements to the line manager.
  • Alerts line management and / or other relevant stakeholders timeously of critical system matters that require immediate attention.
  • Captures any notifications as approved by line management and loads on relevant systems / other media (e.g., email).

  • Provides users with the necessary workarounds, where possible.
  • MI Reporting

  • Extracts and prepares relevant data for reporting on own area of responsibility on a daily / weekly / monthly basis or as required.
  • Identifies trends and / or anomalies and escalates where necessary.
  • Measures

  • Queries logged, resolved and escalated correctly
  • Queries resolved within SLA
  • Internal and external stakeholder feedback
  • Accuracy and timeous submission of reports
  • Quality of recommendations provided
  • Preferred Qualification and Experience

    1 -2 years

    Experience in Wholesale Finance processes and systems. Understanding of the WF value chain. Computer literacy (e.g., Office 365, web browsers).

    Knowledge / Technical Skills / Expertise

    1 -2 years
